Ted @theawfultruth says he could be "Team Meyer"

LOL gotta love this response, whether it holds water or not!  HMMMMM did Summit really call Ted's office and leave a nasty gram?  Would have loved to been a fly on the wall to hear that voice mail!!!!! 

OK - and have things changed?????  Who's telling the truth and who's playing hard ball - Guess we will have to wait and see!  ANYWHOOOOOOO  here is Ted's responde to Stephenie Meyer's rebuttal to his article from yesterday stating that Meyer is the holdup between Summit officially announcing Breaking Dawn - sit back and enjoy!!!!!

Stephenie Meyer on Breaking Dawn Drama: "There Is No Drama"

We always know something big went down in Twi-land overnight when we wake up to hundreds of frantic tweets and emails.

It seems the media-shy Stephenie Meyer had some choice words regarding yesterday's Breaking Dawn update, in which we reported she and Summit can't decide on how to film the fourth Twilight book.

Here's what Meyer posted:

"Just a quick note on the subject of the Breaking Dawn film: there is no drama over whether the book should be one movie or two. My personal feeling is that it would be very difficult to cram the whole story into one movie (as I've said in many interviews previous to this), but if a great way of doing that surfaces, I'm all for it. Two or one, whichever way fits the story best is fine by me, and everyone I've spoken with at Summit seems to feel the same way. We're all excited to move forward on this, and we are slowly and surely getting there. I know people are anxious for news, and so sometimes gossip get fabricated to stir things up, but there's no basis to this particular story."

Clearly our item hit some kind of nerve! First there was the not-so-happy voicemail left on my answering machine by Summit, and now the usually silent Twilight author weighing in on the story.

We never said there was an all-out bitter feud between Meyer and Summit. Just that we know for a fact that behind-the-scenes talks are a bit pricklier than she's letting on.

Summit wants two movies, we're told, and they are trying to persuade Meyer in the peachiest way possible that it's the best thing to do, creatively. So if Steph feels one movie would be too cramped, we wonder what the holdup is? Like we said—ball is in her court. If she wanted B.D. to be two movies, she would get two movies like that.

It seems obvious to us, then, that S.M. and Summit haven't agreed on certain terms that would come with splitting up Breaking Dawn. Is it wishful thinking to hope that after New Moon Stephenie wants a better script writer or something? If that's the case, consider us Team Meyer all the way.
