Could there be any truth to "Gossip Boy" and the article on "THE RING?"

Wouldn't it all be romantic, if only it were true!  What do you think?  Leave your comments below!

Okay readers, here it is. We have some breaking gossip that has been relayed to us concerning the ring Rob reportedly bought. Many of you have asked when he bought it, so we did some snooping. We found out that the jeweler went to Rob, not the other way around. Makes sense, if Rob walked anywhere near a jewelry store, shit would go down. So, Rob requested an in-home visit with the ring in question, and a couple of others. This all happened about 3 weeks before Christmas. Like we reported before, Rob mentioned the ring was for a friend. And that my friends was bullshit!

We have discovered that not only was the ring for Kristen, but he supposedly proposed to her on New Years Eve. Now, don't have a heart attack or fall out of your chairs. This is just rumored. See, after she got the ring, certain people forbid them of coming out about their engagement. They are worried about their franchise, about past relationships that could cast a dark shadow over them, and most of all because someone wasn't exactly legal when this all began!

"She wants to wear the ring but to avoid all the backlash, she keeps it on her, but hidden at all times," our source revealed.

When word of our last article about the ring got out, we hear that is when the lock down began. They were told to make it appear as if they are not together at all and had better not even be seen together until this was all labeled as pure fictional gossip. Kristen was in jury duty for 3 days and Rob has been MIA from Kristen's world.

We don't know what the next step will be, or if Summit will try and have us assassinated, but I personally am holding out for the wedding to end all weddings. It is so hard to find love these days, and these two have found a beautiful romance amid all of the Hollywood drama. It's not fair for them to have to hide it for business reasons.

Taylor Lautner going from 'Steel' to 'Stretch Armstrong'

Last fall while doing the press rounds for "The Twilight Saga: New Moon," Taylor Lautner promised HitFix "big things" would be announced in 2010 regarding his future projects. How significant they are in the scheme of Hollywood is debatable, but the 18-year-old is clearly being thrown the responsibility of launching two new franchises.

Lautner was already on board to bring Paramount's "Max Steel" to life, but now he's becoming another cinematic hero: "Stretch Armstrong." Based on the Hasbro toy, the Universal Picture will be a 3-D extravaganza that will give the character super powers in what we can only assume is a battle against the forces of evil (or possibly his evil brother Wretch Armstrong?).

Speaking to Deadline.com, Universal Pictures Co-Chairman Donna Langley said, "“In the past two years, Taylor has emerged as a real star at the global box office. He brings the perfect balance of energy and athleticism to the role of an unlikely super hero with a fantastic super power. We couldn’t be more pleased that he has agreed to be our Stretch.”

The studio had planned to release "Stretch" in 2011, but the new 3-D plan will push the film back to a March, 2012 release date. That should make his debut as "Max Steel" and shooting the final "Twilight" film or films "Breaking Dawn" easier to schedule.

The studio does not have a director on board the project yet, but as of a year ago Steve Oedekerk was the screenwriter. It's unclear if he is still on board.

Kristen Stewart to Host Benefit Dinner for Haiti

Kristen Stewart ("Bella Swan" in The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse) may be getting her hands even more involved in charitable efforts for the relief of victims of the Haiti earthquake disaster.

Accoring to E!Online's Marc Malkin, she's making plans to host a benefit dinner in Hollywood to raise money for the cause.

Stewart has already done at least two things to be proactive in relief efforts. First, she was able to raise funds through the Sundance Film Festival (where her films The Runaways and Welcome To The Rileys were premiered). Additionally, she teamed with her Runaways co-star Dakota Fanning and other celebrities to sign a snowboard for a Haiti relief charity auction.

As details on the potential project come about, you'll probably hear more about the effort.

Robert Pattinson: Remember Me Quickie Confirmed!

Our friend Marc Malkin over at E has the following to say regarding Rob Pattinson and the 'Remember Me' press junket!

We've got some good and some bad news today for Robert Pattinson fans.

First the bad: We've unfortunately officially confirmed that Rob will not be spending too much time stateside to promote his upcoming flick Remember Me.

And now the good news...

Pattinson can't be here too long because he's all over Bel Ami, the movie he's currently filming in Europe with Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci and Kristin Scott Thomas.

"He is in every scene of [Bel Ami], so he is getting out once to go to New York for the press junket premiere and talk shows," a rep for Remember Me tells us.

Cameras reportedly began rolling on Bel Ami earlier this week in London. In this movie adaptation of French writer Guy de Maupassant's 1885 novel of the same name, Pattinson plays a Parisian journalist who gains power in the city through the manipulation of some very wealthy women.

With reviews like this Summit better amp up the PR on 'Eclipse' ("WAKE UP & SMELL THE COFFEE)

I don't care what anyone says, you can say we got too much info and too many clips before the movie was released for 'The Twilight Saga New Moon,' but I for one will have to disagree.  I don't know whose marketing strategy it was, but it was total genius!  Now I don't know why they felt the need to completely do a 180 on 'The Twilight Saga Eclipse,' but after reading the following review, I think Summit Entertainment would be very wise if they would listen and start pouring out information on 'Eclipse' or they may very well find themselves in a situation such as this review suggests!

WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE - Summit - we the fans make a difference! OK, Enuff said!

2010 Preview: The Twilight Saga: Eclipse

by Raymond Subers

Release Date: June 30

Studio: Summit Entertainment

Genre: Romantic Fantasy

Director: David Slade

Writer: Melissa Rosenberg (based on the novel by Stephanie Meyer)

Cast: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Billy Burke, Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz, Elizabeth Reaser, Peter Facinelli, Gil Birmingham, Dakota Fanning, Anna Kendrick, Bryce Dallas Howard

Studio Description: As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella (Stewart) once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward (Pattinson) and her friendship with Jacob (Lautner) — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death.

Analysis: After Twilight, the first entry in The Twilight Saga before the franchise was called "The Twilight Saga," became a box office sensation in 2008, ultimately grossing $192.8 million, its sequel, New Moon, was dubbed one of the most-anticipated movies of 2009. It did not disappoint, drawing massive crowds out of the gate and finishing the year with nearly $290 million and counting. While the first two movies had pre-Thanksgiving launches, the third, Eclipse, has been aligned with the Independence Day holiday, in part, because the next Harry Potter reclaimed that series' historical pre-Thanksgiving slot. Eclipse is scheduled for Wednesday, June 30, or only seven months after New Moon.

Odds are that Eclipse won't reach the heights of New Moon, given the history of closely-timed, serialized sequels. The Matrix Revolutions, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End and even Back to the Future Part III all grossed significantly less than their predecessors. When a second movie is hotly-anticipated after the first movie's success, it's highly unlikely that the next picture will even maintain the momentum (The Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter being notable exceptions), and signs from New Moon's run suggest that The Twilight Saga will follow the pattern. New Moon had one of the biggest openings of all time, was extremely front-loaded and probably wasn't as well-liked as the first Twilight: Box Office Mojo readers gave it a "C+," compared to the first movie's "B." Also, the vampire fad could show fatigue by the summer, given the flood of vampire-themed TV shows, movies and paraphernalia in the market.

However, it would be silly to bet against Eclipse's chances at being a big box office draw in its own right. The Twilight brand is so strong right now that even a massive drop-off would mean a near blockbuster run for Eclipse, there are few other offerings this summer that will be as attractive to younger females, and there's always the possibility that it pulls a Harry Potter in terms of longevity. With no trailer available at publication time, it remains to be seen how Summit will up the ante in its marketing campaign.

From EclipseMovieOrg - Peter Facinelli dances with Twi Fan @ Twilight Ball

Check out this new/old video of a lucky fan Emma-Leigh Gallivant,& Peter Facinelli creating their own ‘Twilight‘ scene!

RT: What was going through our mind dancing with Peter [Dr. Carlisle Cullen) and having all those cameras on you both?

EG: When I saw him I was so scared and ended up telling him that I cried after the auction, cause I’m a daft cow but he just laughed at me and hugged me before we walked in and everyone was lined up in the corridor and I almost turned around and walked back off but I figured this is once in a lifetime chance, let everyone else enjoy it as much as I will! So I carried on smiling even though I was scared.

I told him that the cameras were intimidating and he said, ‘Close your eyes and relax, just move with me just ask me anything if you want to know specifics. I’m willing to do it.’

RT: So did you and the other lucky girl share your thoughts afterwards?

EG: We have been over the past few days chatting over e-mail. She’s so nice and our dances are so different to. We were talking about the bite and about what he said.

RT: Did you catch Peter’s cold?!

EG: Oh yes. I woke up the next morning and was like oh my god where’s my voice?

Bless him, he was eating Halls and apologised for the menthol smell. It felt like I should do everything to keep it going. I didn’t want to lose the Carlisle Cold.

How lucky is she? I would be a big ole bag of nerves probably channeling my inner Bella and tripping all over poor Carlisle! To read the how all of this came about check out Emma's story!

Robert Pattinson's Remember Me Quickie

Our friend Marc Malkin has the following on Rob and Remember Me promotionals! and I absolutely love love love love what he has to say in the last paragraph!  Check it out below!!!!
As we all know by now, Robert Pattinson will be on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon March 1 and The View March 2 to promote his new, nonvampire flick Remember Me.

But how much more press he'll be doing around the time of the film's release is probably going to be limited to not much else...

While he'll be in New York City the last week of February for the press junket and is expected to attend the big premiere on March 1, he has to get back to Europe sooner rather than later to continue filming Bel Ami.

When asked if there is a chance Pattinson would be hosting Saturday Night Live, like Taylor has done already, our insider said, "I can't imagine he could. Maybe he can make a cameo, but to host you need about a week to rehearse."

Pattinson's Remember Me costar Emilie de Ravin will pop up on The View with him, but she'll probably do a publicity push in Toronto without him.

As we first told you, Pattinson and de Ravin shot a fashion spread at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art for an upcoming issue of Vogue.

Although we're hopeful Rob will be able to squeeze in some more television appearances for Remember Me, don't fret too much. We hear Summit is planning another gangbusters promotional tour for the June release of Eclipse.

Breaking Dawn Still Stalled? the latest from Ted and Taryn

"Yes, I've heard they're still considering a fall start date, which is insane. They still haven't decided on how many movies it will be yet. It could go either way at this point."

—Deep Twi, giving us the latest Breaking Dawn update...or nonupdate, for that matter

We'll cool it with the Robert Pattinson-Kristen Stewart love stuff (if only for a sec) and fill you in on what else we've learned 'bout what's going to happen with the fourth (and fifth?) flick:

"It's looking like it's going to be two," Deep Twi spills. With all this back and forth, we can't keep it straight anymore! However, no decision has been finalized.

We're told there's no director, either, and it doesn't sound like Summit is close to officially nailing one down.

We know by now that Chris Weitz will not direct Breaking Dawn, even though he told us back in November he'd be stupid not to come back if asked. But he was asked, trust. Made that begged.

The cast and studio pleaded with Weitz, but to no avail. Deep Twi tells us Chris' response was "an emphatic no."

Interesting that there's not a whole lotta love yet for Eclipse director David Slade. Is that a bad omen that the third Twilight flick may not be the best one of the bunch? Or could it be the studio wants to wait and count its dollars before choosing director faves? We say No. 2.

With the success of New Moon, clearly Weitz blew Catherine Hardwicke outta the favored water (which so isn't entirely her fault, btw).

As for that fall start date, we think Summit 'n' crew better get their asses in gear and figure out a script and director pronto. Just a suggestion! Until they nail those minor details down, Kristen, Rob and the rest of our fave vampire-human gang can't sign on to any outside projects. Unless, of course, they want to possibly suffer Rachelle Lefevre's same fate. Remember her?

Robert & Kristen make Vanity Fair's list of Hollywood's Top Moneymakers!!!

Vanity Fair Lists Hollywood's Top Moneymakers
By NIKHIL HUTHEESING
Michael Bay (pictured), director and producer of the blockbuster Transformers series, beat mogul Steven Spielberg to top Vanity Fair's inaugural list of Hollywood's Top 40 Moneymakers, which the magazine releases on Tuesday. Bay pulled in $125 million last year, according to the magazine, ahead of Spielberg ($85 million), action director Roland Emmerich ($70 million), Avatar auteur James Cameron ($50 million), and Todd Phillips, producer of The Hangover ($44 million). The magazine limits its list to film-industry creatives: producers, directors, and stars.

Nine women made it into the top 40. The list's highest-ranking actress, Emma Watson (no. 14), beats out Cameron Diaz (no. 19), Sarah Jessica Parker (no. 24), Katherine Heigl (no. 25), and Reese Witherspoon (no. 31). For now, Hogwarts trumps vampires: Along with Watson, Harry Potter hero Daniel Radcliffe (no. 6) and supporting actor Rupert Grint (no. 15) rank far above Twilight co-stars Robert Pattinson (no. 35) and Kristen Stewart (no. 37).

The magazine interviewed scores of Hollywood insiders, says contributing editor Peter Newcomb, who compiled the list. Although agents, lawyers, studio executives and even the stars themselves provided the deal numbers, calculating the earning power isn't always an exact science, Newcomb says.

Who will we see on the list in 2011? Count on Twilight's Taylor Lautner to be here, and for a stronger showing from the King of the World. Avatar director Cameron helped generated sales of more than $800 million for 2009, and his no. 1 movie will most likely also be on the 2010 list a year from now. Also hitting multiplexes this year: the third Fockers installment, for which Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller will each earn about $20 million. Owen Wilson will pull in $15 million for his efforts.

The March Vanity Fair will be on newsstands in New York and Los Angeles on Wednesday and will be available nationally on next Tuesday. Here's the full list:

1. Michael Bay, producer-director ($125 million)
2. Steven Spielberg, producer-director ($85 million)

Have a look at Ryan Miller's Team U.S.A. goalie mask

OK - I know this has absolutely nothing to do with 'Twilight', but I am a hockey fan and with the Olympics less than 2 weeks away and in Vancouver - so there is my 'Twilight' link!  ;)  I have to post this!!!!!

By Trey Kerby

Ryan Miller is the goalie for the Buffalo Sabres, and this February he will be repping the United States to the fullest as the number one netman for the national team. And when I say he's repping the U.S. to the fullest, I mean it. Have a look at that mask.

It doesn't get much more American than Uncle Sam with a tattoo, about ready to layeth the smack down.

Designed by Warwick Mask & Equipment, Inc. in Port Huron, Mich., the mask features that fearsome Uncle Sam, along with Olympics logos, and patriotic sayings that aren't pictured but are probably pretty fearsome in their own right.

In addition to Miller's mask, the shop will be doing the Olympic masks for Russia's Evgeni Nabokov and the Czech Republic's Tomas Vokoun. They'll also be doing a custom guitar for Nickelback to use at the closing ceremonies, but let's not hold that against them.

Miller has been getting his masks from Warwick for years, dating to when he was a teenager. Because of this owner Gary Warwick, Sr. and painter Ray Bishop have the utmost respect for the goalie. Bishop told the Times Herald that Miller is "really good with ideas," and that he "will sketch stuff up even. He's not a bad artist himself."

Looks pretty cool to me. What do you think?

DVD Verdict deliberates and gives 'Little Ashes' a Guilty Verdict!

Unfortunately I have no rebuttal as I have not yet seen 'Little Ashes'...........

The Charge

Robert Pattinson loses the fangs for a crazy moustache in this biopic of Salvador Dali.

The Case

It's probably worth noting at the beginning of this review that I am not a Robert Pattinson hater. He was ghastly in last year's New Moon, but I found him perfectly watchable in the initial Twilight effort and in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. That said, I really detested his performance in Little Ashes and the motion picture as a whole. Rarely does a movie so utterly uninspired and drably compiled come about, but when they do it's a serious cause for concern. The film was shot around the same time that Twilight was, and it's only on the back of that movie's success and Pattinson's uncontrollable popularity that this turgid biopic was allowed to see the light of day. I honestly had fairly high hopes for Little Ashes, but it's a masturbatory exercise in bad acting and aggressively pompous direction.

The film opens in 1922 as Salvador Dali (Robert Pattinson, Twilight) arrives at the legendary School of Fine Arts in Madrid, quick to befriend the intelligent and ambitious Federico Garcia Lorca (Javier Beltran, El Paso) and Luis Bunuel (Matthew McNulty, Looking for Eric). The three have radical views that are set to change the highly censored artistic landscape of the time, but a bond emerges within the group that hints at a forbidden love and dangerous secret. The film is reportedly drawn from the memories and recollections of Dali himself, so I guess that makes it pretty accurate and reliable.

I'm not going to rant too long on the subject of Little Ashes, but it's an awfully boring picture packed with stilted and amateurish filmmaking. The movie doesn't deserve to be seen by a wider audience, and had Pattinson not become the most lusted after male on the planet, I strongly suspect it never would. The one genuine positive is that the film was actually shot in Spain and features some terrifically exotic and beautiful scenery along with a natural claustrophobic heat that really legitimates the surroundings. This manipulation of the natural environment is the strongest facet I could detect and the only element that didn't make me want to tear my eyes from their sockets in an intense fit of boredom.

The performances are weak from all corners, especially from Pattinson, who affects a silly Spanish accent from time to time. There is absolutely no heat between Pattinson and Beltran and thus the story loses much power due to a lack of emotional conviction. This is meant to be the story of a friendship that heads into uncertain waters, yet not once did I feel a connection with the soggy and struggling leading actors. If this story was to get the treatment it deserves, then surely more accomplished thespians were a must; a director as insubstantial and aesthetically arrogant as Paul Morrison doesn't help matters either. Morrison displays no understanding of how to guide actors or indeed pace and edit a motion picture, but appears to be an expert in the creation of languid yet meaningless shots, desperately scrambling to imbue the film with a sense of art-house mystique. Not only does this infuriate by elongating the running time, it also seems to replace the need for dramatic sequences of character construction. I'm not going to retract my negative opinion concerning the acting, but I do feel the majority of the blame probably lies at Morrison's feet. After all, with a director this clueless, any actor would be facing an uphill battle from the outset.

The movie has some educational value and it runs through the relationship at the story's heart as chronologically and plainly as possible, but it has no depth. At least it's easy to grasp the facts concerning the time and era. The musical score also marks an irritable bust, it's repetitive and clichéd, adding to the disgusting aura of tedium. I really didn't like Little Ashes and its attempts to be seductive and meaningful are few and failed. Salvador Dali enthusiasts will already be aware of everything the movie offers and anyone else probably won't have much interest anyway. This is a tired and poorly made biopic that deserves a quick DVD release and then to be abruptly cast into cinematic obscurity. The DVD contains interviews with key cast members and Morrison as the only extra, and they don't make for a particularly satisfactory addition to the unfortunate main feature.

The Verdict

Little Ashes is without a doubt guilty.

NEW FACES OF VAMPIRES IN ECLIPSE
