@100MonkeysMusic perform for an enthusiastic crowd at The Work Play Theatre in Birmingham, AL 12/27/10

I do have the greatest husband around!  Truly I do!  Not understanding my Twi Fanaticism

whatsoever, in July 2009 he takes me to Work Play Theatre in Birmingham, AL to see Sam Bradley, slowly beginning to understand a little of my total Twi Mania he grants me a trip of a lifetime in June 2010 to travel to Vampiah Country (the Pacific Northwest) along with @shackle_me to visit my bestie @callsignC30 and all things TWILIGHT, and then last night he, my daughter, her boyfriend, and myself travel back to Work Play Theatre to see 100 Monkeys.  What a great night of goodtimes, fun and musical enjoyment!  Below are pictures from our night!  And YES I have the best husband of all!!!

Little Brown, Stephenie Meyer provide Red Cross with Bree Tanner charity donation

As most fans know, $1 dollar from each copy of The Second Short Life of Bree Tanner was going to the American Red Cross.


Today, it has been announced that the book raised $1.5 million! From the press release:

“I’m so grateful that Little, Brown, the American Red Cross, and my fans made this generous gift possible,” said Stephenie Meyer. “It’s amazing to have the opportunity to help those so greatly in need.”

“We’ve had the incredible great fortune to have one of the biggest publishing phenomenons in recent years along with The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner becoming one of the top selling titles of 2010,” said Hachette Book Group CEO David Young. “Giving back is extremely important to the company, so it is particularly gratifying to be able to share our success with an organization as worthy as The American Red Cross.”

Her premiere of How Do You Know is tonight ahead of its Friday release and her promotional tour included a junket The movie marks Reese's return to the big screen for the first time in two years and she has another exciting upcoming release, Water for Elephants, out this Spring. She gushed about working with Robert Pattinson on that project and their first preview will debut ahead of How Do You Know in theaters.
