Join us in Helping Kids Today - To Celebrate Kristen Stewart's Birthday
To celebrate Kristen Stewart's birthday on April 9th, Twilightish, PattzStewGlobal and the Saturday Sites have joined together to raise money for Covenant House, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping child runaways get off the streets.
In her recent Vogue interview, Kristen said that "Her plan is to find a way to help teenage runaways get back on their feet, a subject close to her heart after her role in Welcome to the Rileys." What better birthday present than to help fulfill Kristen's wish.

British singer-songwriter-guitarist Bobby Long's anticipated debut studio album A WINTER TALE, produced by Grammy-winner Liam Watson (White Stripes) will be released February 1st, 2011 on ATO Records. Currently residing in New York City, the 24-year old Long has been writing finely-crafted songs since taking up the guitar at age 17; from then on he’s been creating memorable songs inhabited by hauntingly poetic lyrics. After relocating to London from Wiltshire in the countryside of South West England, he became a fixture at London’s open-mic nights while attending London Metropolitan University where he studied Music in Film and wrote his thesis on The Social Impact of American Folk Music.
Bobby quickly established himself on the local open mic circuit, finding his voice and beginning to develop songs characterized by catchy melodies paired with elusive, imaginative lyrics. As Long became more entrenched in London's burgeoning open mic circuit, he met actor and fellow musician Robert Pattinson, who would go on to sing "Let Me Sign" (co-written by Long and friend Marcus Foster) over a crucial dramatic scene in the blockbuster film Twilight. The inclusion of the song in the film’s soundtrack gave Long a head start on a legion of fans. It is Bobby Long's intensely personal songs, vocal prowess, and heart-wrenching soulfulness that resonate with audiences on both sides of the Atlantic, creating a loyal following through constant touring over the past two years. In 2009, Long played 160 shows in seven months in seven countries.
A WINTER TALE merges band power with acoustic rawness, featuring Nona Hendryx (LaBelle) on backing vocals on "Penance Fire Blues," B. J. Cole (Elton John, Sting) on pedal steel, Icelandic singer Lay Low on several tracks, and other top-drawer musicians. In Memory of my brother! This band was a group of his best friends!
WARM a local band from my area of Alabama during the 1970's - they were a band WAY ahead of their time! Got screwed over by their manager. My members of this band and my brother were best of friends. As a small child growing up, I have vague memories of them at my house. This is one of my fav songs of theirs! They had a reunion of sorts this past Friday night - they played to a PACKED house and it was a great time! I only wish my brother could have been there! He would be so proud of these guys still!!!! I love you and miss you every day CRB!!!!!

It belonged here so absolutely that it seemed as if it must have grown from the rock, a natural formation. Honeysuckle climbed up one wall like a lattice, winding all the way up and over the thick wooden shingles. Late summer roses bloomed in a handkerchief-sized garden under the dark, deep-set windows. There was a little path of flat stones, amethyst in the night that led up to the quaint arched wooden door."
The cottage room was something from a fairy tale. The floor was a crazy quilt of smooth, flat stones. The low ceiling had long exposed beams that someone as tall as Jacob would surely knock his head on. The walls were warm wood in some places, stone mosaics in others. The beehive fireplace in the corner held the remains of a slow flickering fire. It was driftwood burning there-the low flames were blue and green from the salt.
It was furnished in eclectic pieces, not one of them matching another, but harmonious just the same. One chair seemed vaguely medieval, while a low ottoman by the fire was more contemporary and the stocked book-shelf against the far window reminded me of movies set in Italy. Somehow each piece fit together with the others like a big three-dimensional puzzle. There were a few paintings on the walls that I recognized-some of my very favorites from the big house. Priceless originals, no doubt, but they seemed to belong here, too, like all the rest.

It's Christams time at the Swan House - outside of home decorated for Christmas
As we all know Bill Condon graciously gave us this picture at Christmas time of the Swan home all decorated for little Renesmee!
Well now it seems the Swan home set in Vancouver is all ready for the cast to descend on British Columbia for the final filming of our beloved saga. Below is a couple of pics of the Swan home, and as you can see, their is garland and Christmas lights on the front porch.

Below is without a doubt one of the most heartfelt letters I have read in a really long time. I hope you embrace this letter and that it could possibly be shared with Stehpenie, cast and crew. The Twi Saga Fandom truly has some of the most magnificent fans on the planet! I am so honored to call @callsingC30 not only my Twitter bestie, but also through The Twilight Saga - now a personal friend, who was gracious enough to share her backyard in the Pacific North West (and the world of Stephenie Meyer's TWILIGHT) with me as she was our tour guide on a trip of a lifetime last summer!

THANK YOU SUMMIT for bringing this story to life on screen for the first time and for introducing us to a wonderful group of actors. And thank you most especially for filming right in my back yard. Thanks to you, I get to tell everyone, "it does in my world." And it has also given me the opportunity to share it with people from all of the country.
THANK YOU CATHERINE for your attention to detail and for romance, spider monkeys, pea coats, vampires that juggle baseball bats, slow walks through a cafeteria, a prom that I wish I had attended, and amazing wide shots of the Columbia River Gorge.
A million more movies could be made, but yours will always remain my favorite.
THANK YOU CHRIS, for bringing our Edward and Bella back together in such a grand, heart-melting way.
THANK YOU DAVID for among many things, Jasper, and your treatment of his story. It was my favorite part of the book and the scene I wanted to see more than anything. In a word, it was perfect.

Richard Phillips portrait of Kristen Stewart

Richard Phillips' new art show looks a lot like a NYLON cover...
You've probably crashed into the artist Richard Phillips without even knowing it - his stylized portraits of models, starlets, and moody blonde children have appeared in museums, M.A.C Cosmetics stores, and also on TV - there's a Phillips' painting hanging in Serena and Eric's Gossip Girl penthouse.
For his latest exhibit, Most Wanted, Phillips selects some "New Hollywood" icons - Dakota, Chase, Zac - and makes them modern deities, via neon-colored halos and some very hallowed canvas.
All the pieces are electric and exciting, but one stopped us dead in our tracks. It's the image of Kristen Stewart, giving us an aloof stare that's so familiar, we actually asked out loud, "Wait... is this piece based on our cover shot?"
That would be amazing... but it also seems possible. We blew up Kristen's face on the cover and flipped it horizontally in the gallery below. Check it out and let us know if we're being giddy, or if our March 2009 photographs were a model for this new work of art.
If you want to see it yourself, head to London: Phillips' show, which includes the Kristen painting, premieres on January 28 at the White Cube Gallery.

Bill Condon comments on 1st still from 'The Twilight Saga: BREAKING DAWN
Entertainment Weekly has an exclusive first look at The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1. The shot, which is only available in Entertainment Weekly's print edition, features Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) as husband and wife…on their wedding night. “It’s one of the most anticipated scenes,” Breaking Dawn director Bill Condon tells EW. “I spent a tremendous amount of time thinking about it. The anticipation is part of it and you want to play with what people expect and maybe subvert it a little and surprise them.”For more information about Breaking Dawn (in theaters Nov. 18), check out this week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly.
